We currently have 20+ reserved seller tables, so there will be a lot of curriculum/books available.
We are advertised in the CHAP newsletter, on their event calendar, on
www.homeschoolclassifieds.com and in the Butler Eagle.
We still have some table space available!
If you would care to join our sellers, we would be glad to make room for you!

Academically homeschoolers have generally excelled, but some critics have continued to challenge them on an apparent "lack of socialization" or "isolation from the world." Often there is a charge that homeschoolers are not learning how to live in the "real world." However, a closer look at public school training shows that it is actually public school children who are not living in the real world.

We are a group of families in and around Butler who gather frequently for co-op classes, field trips and other events. For regular email discussion, please join our yahoo group at yahoogroups.com and search for butlerPAhomeschool.
If you'd like to see the fall and winter field trips that are planned or sign up for an event, please register at this web site - it's free and easy! FREE workshop on Healthful Eating |

Please join us at the Butler Library (basement) on Tuesday, May 31 from 1pm-3pm for a talk on healthful eating on a budget!
My name is Octavia Elder, and I am the mother of a three year old girl who makes me thankful to have the flexibility to work with her every day, rather than sending her to a daycare. I am also the manager of a farmer's co-operative, and have been for almost two years. This spring, I have been scheduling workshops and lectures about healthful eating on a budget, and about supporting the local economy through food. I would be happy to speak with any group of homeschooling parents about those topics, or even speak with the children about what my job is and why it's important to the community.

Right now, the dates have been set (so mark your calendars!), and as our plans our finalized, we'll add more information. Watch your email for updates!
